Mageabume Puncak, --One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Monday, 9 September 2024, the 323 Task Forces, especially the Pintu Jawa Post led by First Lieutenant Caroko, conducted the “ROSITA” (Buy up Farming Products) belonging to residents from the Amuleme Village, Mageabume District, who sold the farming products to the HABEMA Soldiers.

Emphasizing the Soldiers' role, the Commander of the 323 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, stressed the importance of the Task Forces’ attention to the basic necessities of the community around the Post. This message was not just words but an immediate call to action, a reassurance of the Soldiers' commitment to the community. Therefore, the Soldiers took advantage of their routine security duty to help the residents’ economy by buying their farming products.

During the Rosita program, the Soldiers didn't just buy products, they formed connections. They used their own pocket money to buy and use the products for daily food, creating a personal bond with the sellers. The sellers, in turn, were delighted with their revenue from the Rosita. Mrs. Marta Sondegau, one of the sellers, expressed her gratitude, saying, 'Thank you, Commander 323. God bless.' This personal interaction is a testament to the strong bond between the sellers and the Task Forces, fostering a sense of warmth and camaraderie.

After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 323 Task Forces’ initiative to buy up the farming products belonging to residents from Amuleme Village. His words: 'The 323 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to help the people's economy and support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.' This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the significant impact of such initiatives on the region's development, instilling a sense of progress and hope about their potential to shape the region's future positively. It makes the Task Forces and the community feel recognized and appreciated for their efforts. The community feels optimistic about the future of the local economy.
